At Nonie’s Pet Care, we are always seeking experienced, dependable animal care professionals who take pride in their work and genuinely love what they do. We are a structured, team-oriented company committed to providing consistent, high-quality in-home care. Our clients trust us with their homes and beloved pets — and we take that responsibility seriously. We work primarily in part-time shifts, with flexibility built around client needs. Reliability and commitment are essential.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Applicants must:
• Live within or close to our service areas (Metairie & New Orleans)
• Be at least 21 years old
• Have a reliable vehicle and valid, clean driver’s license
• Pass a thorough background check
• Own a smartphone capable of running our scheduling app and taking clear photos
• Be comfortable using mobile apps and basic computer systems
• Be physically able to walk dogs of all sizes and energy levels for 15, 30, or 60 minutes as required
• Be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, we work rain or shine, cold or hot.
• Have at least two recent years of professional animal care experience (personal pet ownership alone does not qualify)
• Be available to work some holidays and weekends (rotated fairly among the team)
• Be comfortable working in homes with security cameras

• Adapt to occasional schedule changes based on client needs
• Remain professional during both slow and high-demand seasons
• Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with fellow team members
Pets always come first. We value team members who are calm, observant, and compassionate.

FOR VETERINARY-TRAINED APPLICANTS
Applicants with veterinary backgrounds or clinical experience are welcome and valued. We seek individuals who are comfortable supporting structured care routines and advanced medication protocols appropriate to their training and experience.
