Liz Serda Schneider, Owner
Liz was an Insurance Adjuster in both Lafayette and Metairie, for over 25 years. During that time, she worked in rescue, fostering, adoption, fund raising and all forms of pet care. She was the spokesperson for Lafayette Animal Aid for ten years, always on the morning news promoting adoption events. In 2016, after "the flood", Nonie's helped provide several industrial sized fans to the Livingston Parish Animal Shelter, donated and delivered by a generous local company, as well as, much needed pet food and supplies for Ascension Parish and Livingston Parish shelters and was recognized by the ASPCA with a Red Star Rescue Medal. In 2019, she organized a Town Meeting, with local experts, to address the growing coyote concern in Old Metairie, which was covered by all TV and Newspaper media and attended by Wildlife & Fisheries experts, local Sheriff's and JP council members. She is always involved in all-things-pets in her community. Liz's specialty is in animal behavior assessment and resolving behavior issues. Aside from running the business, Liz is active in all pet sitting and dog walking visits, Meet & Greets with new clients and overnights. She is experienced in cancer care, administering pet medications, injections, SQ fluids, wound care and post surgery care. She also assists clients with end-of-life counseling and handling all phases of the process. If a client is too emotional to see the end-of-life process through, she will handle everything for you and be with your pet as it passes.

Christine N., Senior Pet Sitter
"Chrissy" has about 15 years of experience as a pet sitter and as a Vet Tech. She has a precious young daughter with a personality to match. Her high energy fits well with active dogs that need a lot of exercise and interaction; she has a Nerf Ball Shooter that rockets the ball long distances and the pets love to run and play "fetch" with her. Christine handles pet visits, dog walking and overnights. She is experienced in administering pet medications, injections, SQ fluids, wound care and post surgery care. Chrissy also provides separate services such as all-size dog baths, cleaning of ears, expressing anal glands and toe nail trimming. Once Chrissy treated a client's dog's puncture wound, that the owner didn't know the dog had; saved the wound from being infected and saved the clients from having to spend money on a large Vet bill and possibly overnight care for IV antibiotics had it gone untreated. She is an integral part to our team.

She is our primary overnight sitter in all locations and helps us with any pet sitting when Nonie's is quite busy. She is very valuable to our team.
