Liz Schneider, Owner and Founder of Nonie's Pet Care, LLC.
The name "Nonie" is what my grandchildren call me. Prior to founding Nonie's Pet Care, I was a Career Insurance Adjuster for four major insurance companies in both Lafayette and Metairie. During all that time, I worked in rescue, fostering, adoption, fund raising and all forms of pet care for over 40 years. I was the spokesperson for Lafayette Animal Aid in for ten years. In 2016, Nonie's, with the help of our amazing clients, provided industrial sized fans and much needed supplies for Ascension Parish and Livingston Parish shelters and was recognized by the ASPCA. In 2019, I organized a Town Meeting, with local experts, to address the coyote concern in Old Metairie. I am involved in all-things-pets, but my specialty is in animal behavior and resolving behavior issues. I have been studying animal behavior over the last 10 years and have learned so much from various behaviorists and Veterinarians. My mission is to provide the best quality in-your-home pet sitting services so that your pet has fun, is safe and cared for while providing you with peace of mind so you can enjoy your trip.
Lauren F., Senior Pet Sitter
Lauren is the mother of three precious girls and a sweet, courageous pit bull that watches over them lovingly. Lauren has over 12 years of experience in dealing with pet care, pet rescue, pet fostering and now pet sitting. Her heart is in rescue work and she brings home strays all of the time. Lauren works to rehab and re-home abandoned pets. She joined Nonie's in 2017 and is a very important part of our team and we love her. I could not do this without her.
Elizabeth B, Senior Pet Sitter
Elizabeth has been a pet sitter for many years and has loads of experience. In the past she has worked for Wag and Rover. As in the picture (which isn't much of Elizabeth) pets just seem to know that she is an animal person, they are drawn to her! Elizabeth also works in the insurance industry, but her heart belongs to spending time with and caring for pets. Elizabeth joined our team in 2019 and works very hard to make sure our pets are happy and healthy on each and every visit. Thank God above that she is with our team.
Emilie A, Senior Pet Sitter, Rescuer
Emilie has been pet sitting for many years in the New Orleans and Metairie area. She is the mother of an adorable son with a personality just like hers. She is very active in hound rescuing and transporting rescues to other shelters to save them from being euthanized, even if it takes crossing state lines. She is as good as they come; soft heart and huge personality. We value her expertise and knowledge of pets and we are very lucky to have her as part of the team.
Karah H., Pet Sitter
Karah has experience in caring for pets for many years, but she is new to the pet sitting field. She joined our team earlier this year and underwent t rigorous training and shadowed one of our more experienced sitters. Now she is one of the most requested sitters that we have! She brings such enthusiasm each time she greets one of our fur-clients and provides so much love and attention, which is reflected in her reports, it's no wonder she is requested so much.
Our team is lucky to have her!!!!
Annikia H., Overnight & Back up Pet Sitter
Annikia's love for and experience with pets has always impressed me. She is very much into details about your pet. She also spends that extra amount of time with our fur clients that might need a little extra love. Annikia works very hard as a wedding consultant for a local B&B. She is our back-up overnight sitter and helps us with any pet sitting when Nonie's is quite busy. She is very valuable to our team.
